## Q1：GPA多少可以申请北美硕士(MS)呢？

**A1**: 按华科往年录取情况看，加权在85以上都有机会。按目前各级加权持续变卷的背景下，只有90+才能保证不会因为GPA被卡。当然申请是一件综合考量的过程，因此其他软背景也非常重要。

## Q2：申请Phd需要哪些条件呢？

**A2**: 申请Phd通常有四个条件，通常被简称为：Connection、Research、TG、GPA

* Connection: 包括任何你与professor的关系，如熟人推荐、暑研recommend letter、paper合作过等等关系都可以为申请大大加分
* Research: 主要指你之前的研究经历，包括论文发表、实验室经历、暑研经历、工业界实验室经历等等
* TG：托福与GRE成绩，达到学校要求标准线即可
* GPA：本科/研究生阶段的成绩，和申请方向相关的课程最好有比较漂亮的分数 

上述四个条件中，根据往届学长学姐申请经验来看，其重要程度是Connection > Research >> TG ～ GPA。因此connection是最重要的，需要用心去营造，研究经历也是非常必要的。而标化成绩只需要达到学校要求水准即可。但是需要注意，由于Phd竞争也很大，北美较好的Phd都需要托福分数在100左右，GRE在325左右。其中Cornell对口语还有额外要求。
